What Is Odor Neutralizer?

EXPEL Odor Neutralizer is a unique technology comprised of 894 ppm of TRUELY stabilized chlorine dioxide which targets and removes even the toughest odors such as pet urine, cigarette smoke, paint, and mold/mildew by actually changing the odorous molecules into non-odorous, biodegradable compounds. EXPEL Odor Neutralizer destroys odors at their organic source and does not mask odors with Perfume or Fragrance based cover ups.

Is Odor Neutralizer Safe?

Odor Neutralizer is hypoallergenic and does not harm People, Household Pets, Farm Animals and has been registered with the USDA. Odor Neutralizer contains NO ENZYMES or HARSH POLLUTING CHEMICALS. Odors are eliminated PERMANENTLY, and Odor Neutralizer continues to work with a long lasting residual effect.

How Does Odor Neutralizer Work?

Odor Neutralizer's main process is "Cation Exchange". Organic odors, having a positive ionic charge, are attracted to Odor Neutralizer's super-charged negative ions and are chemically altered. Odor Neutralizer's poerful negative ion charge natually and safely deodorizes by changing the odor particles without masking the odors with harmful chemicals or fragrances.

How Is Odor Neutralizer Unique?

Odor Neutralizer does not require activation, and therein lies the formulation's amazing capabilities. The other suppliers of chlorine dioxide based products have a product that is stable in the container or packet but it does not work as a until it is activated by the addition of acids. Once mixed these products immediately begin to decay and within two to three days are below usage concentration.

Odor Neutralizer is a unique formulation and cannot be copied. Odor Neutralizer is delivered ready-to-use and can be diluted for various applications. Its shelf life is significantly longer than the competitive products (e.g. 95% active after 4 years). Other manufacturer’s products need elaborate mixing and dosing equipment to maintain concentrations.

How Do I Apply Odor Neutralizer?

May be used with Mechanical and Hand Spray Equipment, Foggers, Commercial & Industrial Misting, Vapor Systems, humidifiers, Carpet Cleaning Equipment, Direct Injection Metering Systems, Mopping Solutions and Direct Wiping.

Our Mini Fogger (Right)has been designed to deliver Odor Neutralizer into small areas such as Hotel and Motel Rooms, and small scale Industrial applications. This lightweight unit has a one-quart tank with a spray range of 7 - 12 feet.

Odor Neutralizer can control trash odors by dispensing directly into trash bins or dumpsters using our DEMA Model 259BT(Left). The 259BT operates on a 3-prong x 6 foot, 12VDC plug-in transformer (included) and comes complete with LPDE tubing and misting nozzle.

Odor Neutralizer is effective on ALL types of pet odors including male cat spray, skunk, litterbox odors and for all pets: cats, rabbits, dogs, ferrets...etc.

• Litter Boxes: Spray Odor Neutralizer directly onto sand in a litter box to remove the smell. Repeat as necessary. May also be sprayed in the air in the room where a litter box is kept to remove cat smells and keep the air smelling fresh and clean.

• Other Pet Odor Problems: Odor Neutralizer may be safely sprayed directly on your cat's coat if cat urine, male cat spray, or even skunk odor is on his/her fur. Odor Neutralizer may also be sprayed directly on a dog's coat to eliminate dog odors. When bathing your dog or cat, add 2-4 ounces of Odor Neutralizer to the bath water for continual odor removal and the sanitation of skin and fur from surface bacteria and viruses. Odor Neutralizer may be sprayed on the surface of pet bedding to help remove pet odors.

• Air Borne Odors: For urine, stool, kennel, perfumes, pet odors (diseased skin, teeth, etc.), simply spray the air routinely in those areas to be deodorized. For larger areas or to eliminate musty air conditioner and duct odors, spray air filters until moist but not wet. Repeat as often as needed. Two ounces of Odor Neutralizer in a gallon sized humidifier will also provide wonderful results.

• Urine, Diarrhea, Vomit and Blood: (1) Clean the area according to clinic protocols. (2) Neutralize the area with a mild baking soda solution. (3) Apply Odor Neutralizer directly to the cleaned surfaces.

• Anal glands: Empty glands into a paper towel previously wetted with Odor Neutralizer. Spray the rectal area liberally with Odor Neutralizer and wipe dry. Pets will go home odor free.

Odor Neutralizer is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and a true and effective deodorant that oxidatively eliminates the organic sources of odor pollution. Odor Neutralizer has a cumulative and residual long lasting affect. Odor Neutralizer will remove carpet odors caused by adhesives, formaldehyde, and other chemicals used during the manufacturing process or carpets and fabrics. • If other products have been used previously, apply club soda or a mild baking soda solution to the carpet before applying Odor Neutralizer. Allow this to dry somewhat before continuing the odor removal procedures. Odor Neutralizer has a pH range of approximately 7.0 (neutral) to 9.5 and works best in an alkaline environment. Other products may have an acid base, and they should be neutralized by this treatment baking soda treatment first. (Do not use with acidic or vinegar solutions).

• Where animal urine or body secretions have occurred and penetration has reached the hard surface of the under floor, or with a long standing problem, apply Odor Neutralizer by pouring it directly on the odor source and allow it to remain very damp for up to 10 minutes. (It is important for Odor Neutralizer to have ample time to soak through the pad to the under floor.) Soak up any remaining solution with a clean towel.

• When using Odor Neutralizer in a carpet cleaning (shampoo) machine add 2-4 ounces of Odor Neutralizer to each gallon of cleaning solution. If steam cleaning the carpet, add 2-4 ounces to each 5 gallons of steam cleaning solution.

Pour EXPEL ODOR NEUTRALIZER in food disposals. Wipe or spray cutting boards and knives to remove garlic, onion, fish or other odors. EXPEL deodorizes counter tops, waste containers, recycling bins, refrigerators, microwaves, ovens, and range hoods.

Cars, Vans, Humvee, Trucks, Transport, Etc.:

• With the engine running, spray Odor Neutralizer into the ventilation system. Turn the air circulation on and set to "high" fan speed with all windows closed and run for a full 5 minutes. Open windows, continue running the fan for an additional 5 minutes. Odor Neutralizer is non-staining, but it is always a good idea to apply Odor Neutralizer to a small area on the upholstery or dashboard to check for colorfastness before pouring directly on the carpet/upholstery fabrics. After determining that there is no discoloration, thoroughly dampen any known spill areas with Odor Neutralizer and allow to dry. After 10 minutes, you may soak up any remaining liquid with a soft towel. Spray headers, carpets, sides, glove compartment and mats. Trunks also retain odors originating from the interior of the car, from the exhaust, and any foul smelling trunk content. Spray the entire trunk liberally with Odor Neutralizer, paying close attention to edges, seams and carpet.

All Tracked Vehicles:

• If applicable, spray Odor Neutralizer into the ventilation system as described above.

• Spray inside of vehicle, on and under seats, on and under floor grates, walls, and any areas that collect moisture or retain water.

HUNTING: Some hunters underestimate the ability that big and smallgame animals have in detecting the scent of unnatural odors over long distances. With the right wind currents, a subject or quarry could smell you more than 600 yards or more away. Odor Neutralizer is the ultimate is scent elimination products. • For clothing, add 4 oz. of Odor Neutralizer to your favorite laundry detergent. Odor Neutralizer will neutralize odors and boost the cleaning power of your detergent.

• Apply liberally on the skin before dressing and after showering. Spray inside and outside clothes,boots, hats, masks, etc. before putting on.

FISHING: Odor Neutralizer attacks and eradicates diesel fumes, cooking odors, cigarette smoke, holding tank odors, even fish and chum odors! Odor Neutralizer is safe to use everywhere! Spray the air; wipe off odors on tables, the deck, and use in the washing machine to eliminate odors off bedding and other washable materials.

Clothing:
Use directly on clothing to deodorize body odor, chemicals, mildew, anal gland fluids, urine,stool, etc. as these accidents occur. Launder as prescribed below.

Laundry:
Add two ounces of Odor Neutralizer to the water of each load.

Spray EXPEL ODOR NEUTRALIZER full strength on all mildew areas - basement walls, canvas, closets, fabrics, rugs, sumps, suitcases, and trunks. A fogger is effective in eliminating mildew and musty odors. Add EXPEL to humidifiers at 4 oz. per gallon to freshen rooms or offices. Spray on furnace and air conditioner weekly. The material sprayed straight from the bottle or fogger eliminates smoke and paint odors fast and completely.
